The final design to this brief was inspired by the following two concepts from week 1;
lvar Aalto:
MONUMENTALITY- Holistic use of singular material (Bricks) heightens sense of monumentality.
Kengo Kuma:
HORIZONTALITY- Horizontality and low scale of the building complements the discreteness and invisibility of the architecture.

In the final design of the structure, the space inspired by Alvar Aalto and monumentality (shown as monument 1 in red) relates to the Architectural Studies and Architectural Computing students. This is because of their specific interest and influence upon the design buildings and structures.
An Engineers interest with regards to a building is primarily about its structure and foundations.This is why in the final design, the space for the engineering students is in the lower parts of the structure (shown as monument 2 in yellow), where the foundations are.
With all this in mind, here is my final electroliquid aggregation:
Architecture
is a discipline, which elevates a simple dwelling or shelter into something
that communicates on an emotional or spiritual level with its occupants and observers.
The monumentality of a structure,
which extends towards the sky, can symbolize the architects influence on
emotions and spirituality. Through engineering, the experiences of the
occupants are improved with regards to the functionality of a structure. An
Engineers influence upon the design starts with the foundations of the
structure and continues with overlooking the remainder of the building whether
the design is conceptually driven by the horizontality and low scale of the structure or otherwise.
